DENR Caraga Regional Office personnel headed by Regional Executive Director Atty. Felix S. Alicer voluntarily contributed a portion of their salary amounting to Php132,230.00 to extend help to some of the COVID-19 affected families in selected barangays in Butuan City. A total of 262 food packs consist of 8 kilos of rice, 3 packs of noodles, 2 beef loafs, 1 birch tree milk and sugar will be distributed.

Arnulfo Pascual B. Santiago (third from left), to formalize the company’s support and desire to be included the agency’s initiative dubbed as the “Adopt-a-National Greening Program (NGP)-Site” Project in a simple ceremony held at the RED’s Office on September 3, 2019. Under the MOA, the MMDC agrees to plant some 3.7 million seedlings within the identified sites with the identified partner implementers. DENR Undersecretary for Solid Waste Management and Local Government Concerns Benny Antiporda discusses before the Vice Mayor of General Luna, Veronico G. Solloso and other municipal officials about the willingness of the National Solid Waste Office to help the LGU of General Luna, Siargao Islands in their proper waste disposal program amidst the absence of a good sanitary landfill site that would cater to the residents and tourists establishments.
