Capinpuyan sign the Deed of Transfer of custody of the 79.0265 hectares of alienable and disposable land at Barangay Culi, Municipality of San Luis in Agusan del Sur for disposition of the latter to qualified agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in a simple ceremony held at the Lime and Zest, Watergate Hotel, Butuan City, on July 7, 2023. DENR 13 commemorates World Oceans Day

In celebration of World Oceans Day on June 8, 2023, with the theme "Planet Ocean: Tides are Changing," the DENR Caraga regional and field offices, including the Environmental Management Bureau 13 and Mines and Geosciences Bureau 13, organized a simultaneous clean-up drive within their identified coastal zones and shorelines which were participated by 980 volunteers from various government agencies, academe, LGUs, private institutions, community members and other stakeholders.

Region-wide, the clean-up drives gathered 419 sacks of waste weighing 3,723.85 kilos, consisting mainly of recyclables and residuals, which were turned over to their respective LGUs for proper segregation and disposal.

Apart from the clean-up drives, the DENR Offices within the region also conducted Communication, Education, and Public Awareness (CEPA) campaigns to remind everyone of the significant role the oceans have in our everyday life.
