The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Caraga holds graduation rites for 104 employees who completed the Environment and Natural Resources Academy (ENRA) Frontline and Basic Courses on July 20, 2023, at the Regional Learning Center in Barangay Ambago, Butuan City.

The graduates are comprised of 39 candidates from Batch 11 "Class Magiting", and 38 personnel from Batch 12 "Class Masandigan" for the Frontline Courses, and 27 personnel from Batch 9 "Class Visionary" for the Basic Course.

Assistant Regional Director (ARD) for Management Services Atty. Claudio A. Nistal, Jr., who represented Regional Executive Director Nonito M. Tamayo graced the ceremony. With him are the Division Chiefs and the courses’ resource persons.

The top five performers for Frontline Course Batch 11 are Giovanni R. Go, Karen L. Asis, Jiar G. Ruel, James B. Jumonong, and Joan P. Daguplo; while Mary Coleen L. Diango, Milo Rey N. Insong, Lord Noli B. Saligumba, Monique Frances Marie Canoy, and Rowena L. Cajes composed the top five performers for Frontline Course Batch 12. On the other hand, the top five performers for Basic Course Batch 9 are Gerence D. Villasor, Melquisedic O. Lagurin, Angel E. Constantino, Eilreen R. Uy, and Karen Antonette J. Gayda.

The management has also recognized the contribution of the resource persons for the ENRA Frontline and Basic Courses.

The ENRA is a specialized competency development program of the department designed to augment knowledge gaps, calibrate understanding of ENR laws, and sharpen the proficiencies of DENR employees to improve the delivery of service to the public. The program comprises five courses: the Executive Course, Management Course, Supervisory Course, Basic Course, and Frontline Course. Each course has distinct modules, which also vary according to the level of participation.
