DENR Caraga headed by Regional Executive Director Nonito M. Tamayo embarks on a successful partnership with Philippine Normal University - Mindanao Campus represented by OIC, Executive Director and Provost Elvira V. Chua through signing of the Memorandum of Agreement for the pilot implementation of the Environment and Natural Resources (ENR) Ambassador Project on September 24, 2021.

Regional Youth Desk Officer (RYDO) Maria Catherine M. Gonzaga and Alternate YDO Hannah Yaelle M. Morano turned over eleven (11) units of tablet computers and pocket LTE-WiFis to the ten (10) ENR Ambassadors and one (1) adviser, which will be used in their online learning and promotion of their environmental advocacies, social mobilization, and partnership-building activities that will help and contribute to preserving the country’s environment and natural resources.

The ENR Ambassador Project, under the Tayo ang Kalikasan / Regional Strategic Communication and Initiatives Group (TAK/RSCIG), is a nationwide initiative to mobilize and capacitate qualified and deserving students/youth, deputized as ENR Ambassadors as a force multiplier in changing people's behavior towards environmental stewardship by maximizing the use of social media platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

The ENR Ambassadors are expected to be role models of other students/youth in pushing for a clean, green, and healthy environment.

Tayo ang Kalikasan is a DENR-led People's Environmental Stewardship Movement envisioned to be a collaborative effort of the government, through DENR, and its citizens toward the protection and conservation of the country’s natural resources.

The ENR Ambassadors and some PNU faculty members were provided with Tayo ang Kalikasan advocacy t-shirts and face masks.
