DENR -13 Enforcement Team under the supervision of Forester Maritess Ocampo, Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services used a drone to search for these stocks of illegally-cut logs along the bank of the Agusan river being gathered by timber poachers for transport to the nearest processing plant in San Luis, Agusan del Sur. DENR-13 Regional Director Charlie E. Fabre ordered a massive anti-illegal logging drive in the region in coordination with the PNP personnel and the Philippine Army in the wake of incidents of poaching activities in the timberlands declared as no-cutting zone under EO 23 regulations.
