Tamayo administers the oath-taking of some 13 newly appointed and promoted personnel of the regional and field offices of DENR Region 13 in a simple ceremony held at Regional Learning Center in Ambago, Butuan City on December 20, 2021. The initiative aims to attract and spark public's curiosity which provides opportunities for advocates to explain and to declare their support to the Anti-VAW advocacy. This will serve as a springboard for public disclosure and for disseminating the message of zero tolerance for VAW.

As a bright and optimistic color, Orange represents hope and a future free from violence against women and girls.

DENR Caraga through its Regional Executive Director Nonito M. Tamayo has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Taganito Mining Company (TMC) and Platinum Group Metals Corporation (PGMC) as its partner implementers for the โ€Adopt an NGP Site Programโ€ on November 4, 2021, at Sohoton Function Room, Gateway Hotel, Brgy. Luna, Surigao City.

The Agreement covers the enhancement of graduated National Greening Program (NGP) sites with low survival rate and those damaged by force majeure, fire, and other causality under CENRO Tubod in Surigao del Norte (SDN) and as part of the companiesโ€™ compliance with the issued Special Tree Cutting and Earth Balling Permit.

The ceremonial signing was graced by TMC Resident Mine Manager Engr. Artemio E. Valeroso, PGMC Vice President for Operations Engr. Corsino L. Odtojan, Assistant Regional Director (ARD) for Technical Services Maritess M. Ocampo, OIC-PENR Officer Alejandra B. Boiser of SDN, and CENR Officer Ruel E. Efren of Tubod, SDN.

DENR Caraga headed by Regional Executive Director Nonito M. Tamayo, pays tribute to seven (7) retirees for the month of July to December 2021 through the โ€œSalamat, Mabuhay!" program held at the Regional Learning Center in Brgy. Ambago, Butuan City on October 18, 2021.

The Department continuously recognizes the dedication and commitment of its retiring personnel under the program.

RED Tamayo expressed his gratitude to the retirees for the years of invaluable service they have rendered to the agency and wished them for never-ending days of enjoyment with their families.

The conduct of "Salamat, Mabuhay!" program to acknowledge the government service of retirees is mandated by CSC MC No. 7, series of 1998. The DENR, through then Secretary Horacio Ramos adopted the CSC Memo Circular in 2010.
